Check out this lovely couple! Alan & Tricia Abraham came to visit and we were able to squeeze in a shoot during their time in TN :) Tricia has been one of my best friends since I was 4 years old - it was so fun finally getting some shots of the two of them together and getting to spend time with them as well. Fisher Fam!

So, amidst all this freezing weather Nashville is having, the Fishers and I were able to go out, brave the chilly outside, and even enjoy ourselves! The fabulous thing is that it wasn't too cold - we ended up having the sun join us as well. What a fun family! Andrew is graduating this May, so we were able to get some shots of him in his dress blues, looking sharp. Lillian proved awesome modeling skills so I had to get some individuals of her too!

What a fabulous January we're having! Nashville always pulls through with crazy weather swings, haha :)

I hope you are all doing well. I've decided to write here more often and keep you updated even if I don't have specific images to show you. The past month, I have been awaiting a new camera (yay, it's here! I am now a proud Canon product owner :) and working on the business side of things - ew! Not my fav, but it's going better than expected.

I will be starting my LAST semester in school this Monday and am LOOKING FOR MODELS to help work up my portfolio! I am SO excited about this because my entire class will be covering what I love to do.. taking yo pickchaa! Can anyone say, "Blue Steel?"

So, I've decided to give you FREE IMAGES with select sessions (basic hour shoot ~$145) if you are willing to be a part of my portfolio and/or website! That's right - 2 5x7's and 1 8x10 FREE! This is a great opportunity for last minute seniors, engaged couples, and those cute little babies you've been wanting to photograph. OH MAN! I just realized that I forgot to add the Ashman photos to my blog! I shot this sweet family back in December for their Christmas card and ultimately some wall art with canvas they got of their kids (wouldn't you? they are so adorable)!

Anyway, here is just a tidbit of the fun session we had :)

I've known the Easterwoods my whole life - what a fun family! Some of their extended family came in for the holidays and we were able to get photos of everyone together. We also got shots of just the cousins, grandparents, and individual families, even though it was a crazy windy day. Have a look at this lovely family!

Oh &a shout out! Some of the guys you see here are a part of a rockin' band called Since Forever - be sure and check out their incredibly awesome music here :]

Oh how lovely! I love seeing two people come together completely in love with each other and their God. Jake and Liz are such a cute couple! The day was absolutely wonderful, so relaxed and just having a good time. Enjoy the preview!

Okay, so I had a BLAST with these girls! They helped me out with a school shoot (yes, for the aspirations project!) and in return, we had a little photoshoot afterwards! They were oh so fun and I had a fabulous time photographing these lovely young ladies.. check 'em out!

I had the lovely opportunity to assist a wedding out in Franklin at Walking Horse Farm. It's such a wonderful place - check out the beautiful rolling hills! I was assigned to following around the guys all day, so that's why you're seeing more of them. I was able to get some shots in between the football watching :)

This was another shoot for my project (showing Dec. 8 at Nashville State!) -- Aiden and Nyk came to help me out on the basketball court for this shoot! Look how handsome they both are with those curls! Again, just a preview - I'll post the final projects shoots later..

Owen and Justin came to help ME out this time with a project for school! The final print will be shown in a gallery at Nashville State on Dec. 8, so I'm not putting it up here yet.. BUT, here are some fun other ones we got from the shoot :)

Words cannot express how beautiful this little girl is. We had a fun time together during this shoot - she looks perfect in every photo! She was full of adorable faces and endless laughs - and before I go on with too many words, I'll let you see some of her finals!

Yum! Food time! I recently had the privilege of working for the Nashville Scene with an internship position. I was able to tag along with the staff photographer on some of his shoots for the Nashville Scene and NFocus Magazine. With this position, I was put in charge of going around the restaurants in and around Nashville to update their online dining guide photos! Not only did I enjoy and learn from this experience, but I was given some delectable dishes as well!

These first two are some of my FAVS!

I'd definitely recommend both for any occasion :)
